Home Economics Basic Foods (1.0 Credits, 1 Year)
This course is designed to help student learn how to make many different foods from Blueberry Muffins to Calzones. They learn various skills for measuring and other baking/cooking procedures. Students can expand on their knowledge of wellness and take responsibility for their own health decisions. Students work in groups in labs and learn how to work with others. Students are assessed through their lab work, classroom participation, quizzes, and homework.
