8TH GRADERS EXPLORE CAREERS IN TRANSPORTATION FOR CTE MONTH Hancock Central School 8th graders had a unique learning experience this week at the HCS bus garage! Students toured the facility and bus bays, gaining hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance. They learned how to remove and replace a tire and got an up-close look at a school vehicle's braking system. This visit offered valuable insight into the mechanics that keep our buses running safely and efficiently! As we celebrate Career & Technical Education (CTE) Month, opportunities like this highlight the importance of skilled trades in keeping our communities moving. A big thank you to our transportation department for sharing their expertise with our students!
