WILDCAT PRIDE IN ACTION

We are incredibly proud of several Hancock Central School students who stepped up on short notice this past weekend to help serve food at a luncheon honoring a fallen firefighter. Their selflessness, respect, and willingness to support our greater community during a difficult time is truly admirable.

A special thank you to Angie Hazen for reaching out to several students she knew would be ready to help—and they did not disappoint. These young people went above and beyond, and we couldn’t be prouder to call them our students.

Thank you to Patrick Esolen, Xavier Esolen, Olivia Esolen, Autumn Dohanic and Amelia Waldron, your compassion and dedication reflect the best of what it means to be a Wildcat!

HCS Students Share “Real Love” Through Music and Message

On June 2, 2025, Hancock Elementary School welcomed the John Lennon Real Love Project, a program of Theatre Within, for an unforgettable day of music and meaning!

Students learned about John Lennon’s life, music, and powerful values of peace, love, and equality. They then wrote their own lyrics to his song “Real Love” and recorded a brand-new version—featuring Lennon’s original piano and vocal track!

We’re proud of our students for embracing such a creative and inspiring experience.

A heartfelt thank you to the John Lennon Real Love Project for bringing this incredible opportunity to HCS and helping our students find their voice through music.
