FALL FUN IN UPK & KINDERGARTEN!

After reading, the classes discussed what happens to the leaves in the fall, then got creative with some hands-on activities. The students made edible fall trees and created story sequence crowns.
What a fun and colorful way to learn about the changing seasons!

D-H GOLFERS QUALIFY FOR SECTIONALS!
Although our Deposit-Hancock Golf team narrowly fell to Greene in their final regular season match last night by just 6 strokes, their strong play throughout the season earned them enough victories to qualify for Sectionals as a team this spring!
Ethan Dennis led the way for D-H with a 43 last night, including three pars, while Wyatt Persbacker followed closely with a 44.
A special congratulations also goes to Wyatt Persbacker, whose scores across the season were low enough to qualify him as a Section IV medalist entry this spring!
Next up, the golfers will compete in the MAC Championship this Tuesday, October 7th, at 9:00 a.m. in Marathon.
Best of luck to our Eagles!

5TH GRADE ART UPDATE!
Earlier this month, we shared some progress shots from Ms. Kellam’s 5th grade art students as they explored how to use simple lines and shapes collaboratively. Students built on each other’s ideas—adding to, transforming, and re-imagining what their classmates had drawn.
We’re excited to say that the project is now complete! Along with new progress photos, we now have the finished results, showcasing how imagination and teamwork can turn simple marks into creative, detailed, and meaningful artwork.
Great job, 5th graders, and thank you, Ms. Kellam, for guiding such an engaging and collaborative project!

FUN FRIDAY IN UPK
A told B, and B told C… UPK had Fun Friday, come and see!
Our youngest Wildcats read “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom” by Bill Martin, Jr. and John Archambault, and watched the letters race up the coconut tree. After story time, they made their own yummy, sweet treats that were just as fun as the ABCs!
