HANCOCK – The Hancock Central School District would like to thank residents for their support during the 2025-2026 Budget Vote that took place yesterday.
Voters approved the Board to authorize the proposed 2025-2026 budgets for the Hancock Central School District (85 yes to 26 no) and the Louise Adelia Memorial Library (98 yes to 13 no votes). Propositions were also passed for buses (82 yes to 29 no), and to establish a Capital Reserve Fund for the acquisition of vehicles used for the transportation of students (86 yes to 25 no).
HCSD residents also elected Michael MacDonald to a three-year term to the Board of Education, while Nick Hazen, Sr. had his BOE terms extended for three years.
