ON TO THE FINAL FOUR Congratulations to our D-H Eagles Softball team on their 5-2 NYS Class C Regional victory over Sandy Creek last night! Trailing 2-0 in the 3rd, Sarah Gross smacked a 3 run HR over the wall just when D-H needed it. Ivy Tice added a single and a rbi in the same inning to give D-H the 4-2 lead. Gross scores another run later in the game thanks to a sacrifice from Amanda Ray to give D-H a 5-2 lead, which is all that was needed. On the day, D-H received hits from Gross (2 hits, 3 rbi), Tice (2 hits, 1 rbi), Kadyn Appley (1 hit, 1 run), Victoria Green and Olivia Johnston. On the hill, Addison Makowski was solid, as usual, striking out 12 while giving up 0 walks. With the win, D-H moves on to the NYS Class C Final Four, where they will take on the winner of Bloomfield (Section 5) and Chautauqua Lake (Section 6) Great game, ladies, congratulations and keep it going!! #DHNation
