Congratulations to our D-H Eagles Football Team on an impressive 20-0 victory over Chenango Valley Friday night under the lights!
Xavier Esolen got D-H on the board first with a rushing touchdown, followed by a successful 2-point conversion run by Jack Arrigan to give the Eagles an early 8-0 lead.
Later in the game, Marco Avila found the end zone with a strong rush to the right side, extending the D-H lead to 14-0. Esolen then added his second rushing touchdown of the night to cap the scoring at 20-0.
The D-H defense was once again dominant, posting its second straight shutout to begin the season. Through two games, the Eagles have allowed ZERO points! Steven Saul came up with a big sack, while Jake D'Elia nearly came away with an interception on a great defensive play.
Two games. Two shutouts. 2-0.
Excellent work, Eagles! They will be back under the lights this Friday at HCS, taking on Odessa-Montour at 7:00 p.m.
We hope to see you there!

The D-H Varsity Field Hockey team came away with a hard-fought 2-0 victory over Greene on Friday afternoon at Warner Field in Deposit!
