CONCERT-ART SHOW NEXT WEEK
On budget day, HCS will also have a few events taking place in the evening. The end of the year MS-HS concert will take place in the middle-high school auditorium on May 21st at 6:30 p.m. During the concert, there will also be an Elementary Art show, with elementary student artwork displayed in the hallways and auditorium entrance.
CINCO DE MAYO AT MORNING PROGRAM
We want to thank our Spanish Teacher, Ms. Heesh, and several of her students for stopping up at Morning Program yesterday!
Ms. Heesh and her students (Stevie Woodmansee, Olivia Esolen and Gwyneth Nebzydoski) spoke about the holiday, informing us that it is not the Independence Day of Mexico. It is a yearly celebration of Mexico’s victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla in 1862.
Our elementary students asked Ms. Heesh some questions and got the opportunity to do a popular Mexican dance with her!
Thank you to Ms. Heesh and her high school students for stopping to Morning Program. Thank you to all of you that showed up, as well. We hope to see you again next week!
