Congratulations to Hancock fifth-graders Maryam Lavander, Keegan Milk, Aladino Ruiz and Josephine Young for taking first place in the Elementary School Engineers Division during Thursday’s Engineering Day at Broome-Tioga BOCES!
Students from local school districts were given the same materials to build a structure that moved a ball into a cup using at least three energy transfers. Our quartet did it best, amassing 129 points to top more than 80 teams for the title!
