Congratulations to the Hancock boys and girls bowling teams, which earned Midstate Athletic Conference Tournament championships Tuesday at Sunset Lanes in Kirkwood.
Anton Leonard’s season-best 741 series included a 266 game for the Wildcats’ boys, who received a 655 series from Tyler Allen, a 610 series from Shane McAndrew, and a 210 game from Nick Hazen.
Lana Evanitsky paced Hancock’s girls with a personal-best 638 series, which featured a 258 game. Her series and game each ranked second overall in the girls tournament. Both also earned Lana recognition as the girl with the most pins over her season average.
Brenna Gleim’s 259 marked the high game of the girls tournament. She also had the third-best series for Hancock, which also won the MAC regular-season title.
The Wildcats will keep rolling next Friday and Saturday (February 14-15) in the Section Four Tournament at Midway Lanes in Vestal.
