Hancock Central School Penny War!
Put your spare change toward a great cause during Hancock's annual Penny War, which runs October 21-November 26. All proceeds will support the American Cancer Society.
Pennies are “positive.” Here’s how it works:
• Containers are located in each classroom.
• Each penny counts as one positive point for YOUR team.
• Each silver coin or paper dollar counts as negative points for OTHER teams. In other words, dropping a quarter in another team’s bucket takes 25 points from their total.
• At the end of the day on November 30, all change/points will be tallied and the team with the most points will win an ice cream party!

Containers are located in the following rooms:
Grade 5: Ms. Kravetsky’s room
Grade 6: Mrs. White’s room
Grade 7: Mrs. Wormuth’s room
Grade 8: Ms. Nyberg’s room
Grades 9-10: Ms. DaBrescia’s room
Grades 11-12: Mr. Davis’ room
