Dear Hancock Residents,
On December 5, residents supported the Hancock CSD Capital Improvement Project vote with a 72% approval. The final vote tally was 104 YES to 31 NO votes.
Thank you for your continued support of the Hancock Central School District! We appreciate your confidence in our planning process and support of our vision for our District's facilities. With your approval of the project, we look forward to making this plan come to fruition.
Our next steps will include refining the project design, followed by submission to the New York State Education Department (NYSED) for final review and approval prior to engaging the bid phase in November or December of 2020. Construction is slated to begin in spring of 2021.
