Congratulations to Hancock junior Kelsey Young, who won the Section 4 Class D 2,000-meter steeplechase championship May 22 at Marathon!
Kelsey cruised to the title for the Deposit/Hancock girls track and field team, winning in 7 minutes, 55.77 seconds – more than seven seconds ahead of her closest competitor.
She also placed second in the 3,000-meter run (11:18.66), helping the Eagles to a 10th-place finish out of 22 teams.
