There is no school for Hancock Central School District students Monday, March 16, 2020. Staff members are expected to report to school at the normal time and will meet in the MS/HS Auditorium at 9 a.m. Monday.
School will be in session for students Tuesday, March 17, 2020. Students will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m. Materials required to complete school work during the extended closure will be distributed Tuesday.
Starting Wednesday, March 18, 2020, the Hancock Central School District will be closed to students and the general public until Tuesday, April 14, 2020, in accordance with Delaware County’s State of Emergency declaration.
Although the Delaware County order takes effect Wednesday, the Hancock Central School District is suspending all sports/extra-curricular activities from Monday, March 16, 2020, through Monday, April 13, 2020.
