MacKenzie Henry’s science class has been learning about cells and the human body at Hancock Elementary School.
Her second-graders recently joined Jim Kelly’s seventh-graders for a listening-and-learning session about microscopes. With the help of Jim’s students, MacKenzie’s kids viewed slides of brain, skin and plant cells.
They even used microscopes to examine our very own pond water and a baby salamander that recently hatched!
