Congratulations to Hancock High School juniors Lily Ogozalek and Emmi Rubera for earning a trip to the National Catholic Forensic League’s 2019 Grand National Tournament, which took place in Milwaukee over Memorial Day Weekend.
Lily and Emmi earned five top-three rankings competing in the Duos category, which featured 193 teams, but fell short of the quarterfinals in the speech and debate season finale.
“It is always an educational experience to compete with the best in the country,” Hancock Speech and Debate Adviser Monica Whitt said.
Lily and Emmi are also members of the National Honor Society’s Hancock chapter.
