Hancock National Honor Society students ventured to SUNY Oneonta on March 15 to compete in the CASSC Academic Challenge! Team captain Chris Gross, Nick Locke, Madison Felter, Lindsey Bolster, Payten Gill, Taylor Gotthardt and Wynter Stanton took part in the challenge, which featured 13 teams from 10 schools.

Hancock won its first two rounds, beating Gilbertsville-Mount Upton's B team in the first round, 90-75, and Laurens in the second round, 60-50.  After losing to Greene in the third round, the Wildcats finished with their best round of the day, a 170-80 win over Laurens.
