Tickets for this weekend’s state baseball and softball semifinals/championships must be purchased in advance online at https://gofan.co/nysphsaa. Interactive mobile tickets cost $10 plus fees and must be presented at the gate. Cash sales will not be available at the gate, and screenshots/printed tickets will not be accepted.

 

Deposit-Hancock’s Section IV champion baseball team (21-0) will play Section VII’s Crown Point (10-4) in a Class D state semifinal at 2 p.m. Friday at SUNY Broome. Section IX’s Chapel Field (12-1) and Section VI’s Clymer/Sherman/Panama (17-1) will follow at 5 p.m. Friday’s winners will play for the Class D state title at 4 p.m. Saturday at Binghamton University.

Deposit-Hancock’s Section IV champion softball team (15-6) will play Section V’s Scio/Friendship (17-4) in a Class D state semifinal at 11:15 a.m. Saturday at Long Island’s Moriches Athletic Complex. Section III’s Oriskany (12-3) will play Section II’s Argyle (10-6) at the same time and site in the other semifinal. Semifinal winners will advance to the Class D state championship at 3:45 p.m. Saturday at Moriches Athletic Complex.
