The 2021 Deposit/Hancock boys and girls basketball seasons will begin Wednesday, February 17, as the Eagles open against Midstate Athletic Conference rival Walton. Junior varsity and varsity basketball season openers will be live-streamed via YouTube (see links below).

Deposit/Hancock’s boys will visit Walton for a JV/varsity doubleheader. JV will start at 5 p.m. Wednesday, followed by varsity at 6:45 p.m.

Deposit/Hancock’s girls will host a JV/varsity doubleheader against Walton at Deposit. JV will start at 5 p.m. Wednesday, followed by varsity at 6:45 p.m.

Deposit/Hancock’s basketball teams also will play Walton on Friday, February 19. The boys JV and varsity teams will host Walton at Deposit on Friday, while the girls teams will visit Walton. Game times are 5 p.m. (JV) and 6:45 p.m. (varsity).

On Friday, the boys games will be live-streamed on the DH Eagles YouTube channel, while the girls games will be live-streamed on the WaltonCSD Communications YouTube channel.

 

Deposit and Hancock will host separate Senior Night events at their respective home gymnasiums during the 2021 basketball season.

Deposit’s Senior Night basketball games are scheduled for this Wednesday (varsity girls) and Friday (varsity boys) at Deposit. Only Deposit senior basketball players will be permitted to bring two in-person spectators apiece to their respective Senior Night games at Deposit. No other in-person spectators will be allowed because of COVID-19 restrictions.

Hancock’s Senior Night basketball games are scheduled for Monday, February 22 (varsity girls) and Wednesday, February 24 (varsity boys) at Hancock. Both games are against Delhi and start at 7:15 p.m., following JV games at 5:30 p.m. Likewise, only Hancock senior basketball players will be permitted to bring two in-person spectators apiece to their respective Senior Night games at Hancock.

 

Both the Deposit and Hancock school districts have installed HUDL cameras in their elementary school gymnasiums to live-stream 2021 home basketball games to the DH YouTube channel.
