Congratulations to Hancock Central School District Elementary and Middle School students who were recently honored as Scholar of the Month award-winners for the 2020-2021 school year.

December 2020: Elisha Simmons, Grade 2
February 2021: Addie Furlong, Grade 2
March 2021: Addison Picozzi, Grade 1
Hancock Middle School
January 2021: Alexi Rosel, Grade 7
February 2021: Cherish Wright, Grade 5
March 2021: Holden Dufton, Grade 6
HCSD Superintendent Terry Dougherty presented Scholar of the Month certificates, which are awarded to Hancock students in grades K-8 who are nominated by HCSD teachers.
The program is sponsored by The Hancock Community Education Foundation and Camp Hilltop and recognizes students for excellence in academics, character and effort within the school community.
Scholars of the Month also receive $100, which is kept in trust for them until they graduate.
